That's up to our guests. We do not run any entertainment program but offer a couple of facilities that help guests to relax and to get in touch with one another.
The lounge in the main house provides ample space for dining, watching TV (DSTV) or DVDs, and a cosy fire place.
Our bar in front of the main house supplies drinks and snacks and from there it's only two paces to the swimming pool. On the vast sun deck above the bar area you can enjoy your sundowner.
At the dartboard you can prove your darting skills and soon there will also be a standard pool table.
The adjacent grill (braai) place gets activated on demand. Even if it's raining cats and dogs we can still arrange for a nice evening on our veranda (see the image on the right).
You can even lend a book. Connecting to the Internet is free for up to one hour per guest and day.

Shopping and banking you can do at "Mall@Reds" or in Wierda Park (both within walking distance). Within a range of 7km there are lots of restaurants and pubs, some with live South African music performance.
Guests that do not have own transport can walk to the big mini-bus taxi rank in Wierda Park from where they can get to every place in the region at very modest rates.

Gauteng, the province comprising the wider areas of Johannesburg and Pretoria, accomodates a lot of attractions and opportunities for visiting or taking part of, including but not limited to those listed on the left.
You can also book "Gauteng Hiking Trails" providing you with the opportunity to enjoy the wonderful game, mountains, waterfalls and indigenous vegetation of Gauteng province in a non-polluting way.
There are also many wildlife reserves in the area worth visiting (if you can tolerate the fact that all those animals are captivated and used for purely commercial purposes). See a short list of those places on the left.
